THE QUESTION OF THE DAY:
WHO IS MR. ALI BABA OF THE DAY?
There are so many Ali Baba’s in the new state of South Sudan now a days. Just to give a little bit about them, after the signing of the CPA billions of dollars have been stolen by many Ali Baba’s for their personal benefit, maybe, because, they don’t know the value of the nation and the 2.5 millions of our people who have died in the war.
These Ali Baba’s know only their big stomach and having many wives who are being changed like clothing in closet. So, the question of the day is who is the Ali Baba’s of the day?
This is the simple advice to our president Mr. Salva Kiir Mayardit to help him with those who are trying to betray him and put him into problems during his presidency.
Dear Mr. President here is what you need to do to save the people of new nation South Sudan and your own presidency:
1- Find the root cause of the disease then after that you can look for the treatment and to cure the disease completely; if you don’t then maybe you are part of the problem. Some people will always contribute in your suffering if you are not careful about them and the way they do things.
2- Do not remove some of your ministries from their positions, because they will start thinking about military coup to over throw your government, but exposed them to the public through the media and ask them to resign.
3- Look for fresh faces that fear the public and the media not to destroy the family names.
4- Do not appoint those who have more than two wives into ministerial portfolios, otherwise the ministerial position will be the source of bringing more wives. If he wants to maintain his position he should sign that he is not going to merry another third wife or otherwise leave the position.
5- Do not appoint those who come to you and lobby for his or her position in the name of tribal line.
6- Do not appoint those who come to you after working hours as for private visit and eventually will turn into political lobby meetings. Let them see you in your office officially during working hours.
7- Do not appoint people who want the position for their personal prestige and not for the public interest.
8- Ask the wealthy and those who stolen the government money to donate 10% to charities organizations ,ex. Orphans ,street Children, Veterans’ and disable people
9- Do not appoint those who come to you through your wife for the political position, just because, they know you will not refuse your wife request for them.
10- Do not appoint those who come to you in the name of religion, because they know that you are a committed Christian, and then it will be a loophole for them.
11- Appoint those who can deliver I mean, not Mr. Talker but Mr. Doer.
12- Do not appoint those who tend to speak to you in their tribal language for the official business or government affairs.
13- Do not listen to tribal advisers, but to people of technical know how.
14- Ask tough questions to those who bring lies to you for the personal benefit for ex. Where did you get that information’s? Who told you this? And so on.
15- Ask your press secretary to bring you the opposition news papers and not only the pro. Government news papers.
16- Keep your schedules much tied maximum 10 minutes for individuals meetings. Give your time to public issues and nation business
17- Mr. President Show your smile some times. It will help...
Next edition will bring more advisory to Mr. President Salva Kiir Mayardit.
