I just want to comment on what Dr. Adwok Nyaba said in his second comment which was addressed to Mr. Paulinio Mayik in the article was written by Rev. Daniel Amum title: Dr. Adwok Nyaba the holy calls cannot be denied).
Nyaba said:
(I have maintained that if it is the question of land, then the course to take is not armed struggle and in the Chollo land as it happened in Wic Rek (2010) or Dhathim (2011) because the Chollo alone had the bloody nose. The right course was to take it to court).
Dr. Nyaba and others Chollo members in the ruling party (SPLM), before the accidents that happened in Wic Rek 2010 and Dhothim 2011, why you and your colleagues in the SPLM didn’t set down and discuss the issue seriously and open the case in to the court? Or who do you think were supposed to do it? Why did you not avoid the exploding anger of our youth because you are in the Government? And I know you are able and capable to do that.
Now you are trying to say something after all these happened, you must keep quite and silent and be shameful of being Ochollo and the same time you are in power and a member of SPLM the ruling party!, also you have to apologize to all Chollo Kingdom because when you all were fighting during the struggle they were proud of you and others, but now you disappointed them, that mean you are a leader for yourself only, then you must stop talking about Chollo.
The blood of our people was shed, and their tears flowed crying for their children, and their villages were burned. All this happened in the hands of your SPLA solders.
If you try to give a proposal to GoSS leadership as Chollo leaders proposing to solve the conflict peacefully, does it mean that you are tribal leaders?
Now Dr. Nyaba you are fighting your brothers and sons in this web who want to help you, but who want to rescue this situation underground peacefully. How do you feel about their feelings in this?
You, the Chollo leaders in SPLM and GOSS, you disappoint your people, when we were expecting from you a good role to keep the peace in our land. Now our people have been killed and nobody taking care of them so how do you expect the youths to react? Do you expect them to dance and sing for you because you are patriots? No I don’t think so.
Our youth are now struggling for their land and you are accusing them that they are SPLM-DC militias which means the message of war to SPLA, like what is going on now in many counties in the Upper Nile State, do you think it was their wish to fight against SPLA?
What you have to do is to sit down as Chollo leaders in SPLM and GOSS, and please give us what you are thinking as solution to stop this conflict? Tell your people that you are not keeping quite but you are working and taking care about them and their land, and show them the way-out from this evil of the SPLA. This must take place before 9-July-2011.
