Sudan FM: Deng AlorSalva at long last had come down from imaginary ivory tower to talk to those he regarded as militia. This wisdom should have put on a long time ago. We had always repeated that Salva if led by good advisors, would have rallied the south behind him.

We the G-Seven who crossed early 2006 to SPLM, he welcomed us and affirmed that SPLM would benefit from the experienced politicians. But his SG refused to meet us on the account that we were coming to strengthen the line of SALVA. The time came to pass and Salva made 180 degrees turn against his people. Now he is reaping what he was made to sow. When Salva comes to his senses much, much water had passed under the bridge and had picked up enmity with all the people of the south including his own. Now he is marooned politically militarily, internally as well as externally. His mandate had been disfigured beyond recognition and up to the point of no return. Why he let himself be destroyed by the bad guys in his court is his own affair.

The next step is to sit with all the political parties of the south to salvage what can be saved in the south. The controversy whether to take or leave the ministry of mining, is a dead bird. His real headache is embodied in his team that never probes deeply into issues, fond of raising dust even when there is no dust to kick into air.

Splitting of ministries(some) is natural if you have to increase the portfolios. GOSS is contemplating to raise the number of ministries to 30 in Juba, how is it going to be? It should by splitting-up some ministries. SPLM is like a child that cries for big amount of food which when placed before him he eats very little. The interest in big names of ministries is just fun. Most of SPLM ministers never knew what to do with those ministries. They always failed and failed the people with them. Except for Dr. Lam who made proper use of his tenure in the ministry, Deng Alor failed with Excellence. The southern newly appointed diplomats could not be fitted into their jobs for over one year now, while those southerners who are supposed to be deployed in foreign embassies have been left out.

Pagan and Kose Manibo failed properly in the council of ministers, All those who came to the higher Education from Professor Peter Nyuot, Prof. Boreng and Professor Peter Adwok Nyaba did nothing tangible not even for southern universities. The evolutions goes similar for almost all except for the ministry of health Dr. Tabitha who did wonderful work including the handling of the doctors crisis. Thus, wasting peoples’ time on the ministries and ministers that do not deliver is political window-shopping. Drastic reform in SPLM at the moment is almost impossible, because the issue is the lack of will to do some thing neither in GONU nor in GOSS. Mr. chairman, your people have failed you. It remains to be seen that the coming period will bear a miracle so as to have high opinion of the SPLM.
