On Thursday afternoon 27/5/2010 at Block 20 El Safa, many people converged for the last ritual prayers of late Uncle Luigi Adwok Bong. Many well known people like Uncle Abel Alier, Dr. Lam, Uncle Mathew Othow, Dr. Peter A. Nyaba, Ms Angelina Thomas Kuma and so many others were present in spite of the sweltering heat of Khartoum.

All spoke well about the achievements of the late uncle Luigi and as the First southerner who ever became the head of state of Sudan, and resigned the post for injustice expressed in the illegal amendment of the constitution done in southern absentia. H.E. James Kok the SPLM minister in GOU represented the president of GOSS ,as was announced by the master of ceremony, was the only person who went off the mark by introducing the recent incidence unfolding in the Collo land and made a lecture which would send students yawning and yearning for a sleep in a class. He declared his blood proximity to the Collo people and accused so elements he felt short of mentioning of killing the paramount chief Kwanyireth Peter Oyath who was killed near Obay last week.

In his citing of events he was so superficial about the Collo unity and way of life. And if there is any think to say in this aspect it is that the Collo people will not tolerate dehumanization. The Collo people are united more than any time in the pass as they voted almost unanimously for one principle against the SPLM for obvious reasons Mr. James Kok should have been tipped before embarking on such a topic. James Kok who assumed to be more Collo than the king, was posing more catholic than the Bishop. How can James Kok talk about unity in Collo land when he is not working to wards unity in FANGAG.

This Kok should be taken to court for having abused the rights of the SPLM Independent, and SPLM-DC candidates Michael Mario Dhuor and Chuol Liem respectively in that constituency. Let Mr. James Kok take off the log in his eye than looking for the speck in Collo’s eye. You can not give what you don’t have. The Collo Reth is there, and when Collo decide to defy his position, it is not for not sale, but for genuine issue of usurped Collo land given away by his boss the GOSS president SALVA Kiir Mayardit. But what did James Kok do to lessen tension between the lau Nuer and the SPLA? More still what did James do to resolve the discontentment of the cheated Nuer people in Unity state? It is still our conviction that Kwanyireth Peter Oyath was murdered by non Collo who hope to drive a wedge between Collo people as punishment for the humiliating defeat of SPLM in Collo land. This position was taken after the so many atrocities practiced by the SPLA against the Collo people in their village ranging from rape to killing.

The SPLA behavior in Panyikango against the people was so brutal not similar to what the Israelis do on Palestinians. How would James Kok digest sexually molesting his wife or child? Or burning a plastic bottle and let the hot liquid dribble on the back of the child in an interrogation effort to divulge the whereabouts of his father’s gun? The unity of Collo people against the evil is complete except for a few who hope for positions like SPLM hand picked commissioners of Panyikango who never seemed bothered by part of his land being given away as long as he remains the commissioner.

The commissioner of Makal county was blamed by his peer for standing firm in the attempted take over of Malakal town. Other commissioners are all SPLA/M personnel and they ruled with misconduct. We had already said if the SPLM wants development, it should put into place good administrators who will be respected by the people, and the air-conditioned cars wasted on the chiefs be turned into tractors to increase the agricultural products in the villages. If Mr. James Kok wants to keep his ministerial post with the SPLM, let him find other means, not at the expense of his uncles the Collo to whom he is affiliated by blood. But still let him advise his boss to denounce his decree by which he gave away the Collo lands. What must be told James Kok here is, as he was praising uncle Luigi Adwok Bong, if he takes time with himself, he will clearly notice that the Collo people are walking in the path of the late philosopher who never had lust for others’ properties or rights. He never stall public funds, never build a house outside Sudan which he could have easily done as a head of state. But the house he lived and died in was built by the government of Sudan as a reward for his statesmanship. SPLM/A still have cases to sort out with southern people when the time comes because of the so many mistakes made during the last five years of their tenure. Mr. James Kok you seem to be very superficial about understanding your uncles who are not shaken by trivial issues. How could they have preserved this kingdom since 1545 A.D. , If not for the genuine perseverance, deep thinking, zero tolerance for corruption and defense of their territory.
