UN peacekeepers rescue 10 people from drowning in Upper Nile State PDF Print E-mail

rescuest1.jpgA team of United Nations peacekeepers in the Upper Nile State has rescued 10 people from Makal Shiluk village including three women and a 10 year old girl who had gone out to fetch firewood when the canoe which they were travelling in capsized on River Nile.

The cause of the incident is believed to be sudden strong wind, rain and overloading.
