The So-Called Shilluk International Congress.?Date: - 25th, 0ctober, 2007.?Subject: - THE SHILLUK COMMUNITY APPEAL TO THE MEMBERS OF ????????? ????????SPLM LEADERSHIP TO NOMINATE A SECRETARY????????????????? GENERAL.??????????????? ????????Reference to the above mentioned subject and various articles about the Collo Community and its members, I thought that this young 0rganization had come up illegally to work for the welfare of the Collo tribe in general and its politicians in particular ? It is then a surprise to realized that, '' Sic'' is coming up to work for the destruction of the whole tribe and its notables such as Mr. Pagan Amum, who had sacrificed his own live to work for the welfare of Southern Sudan in general and the Collo tribe in particular and in which SPLM had honoured by appointing him as a Secretary General.?In reminding you about the Collo culture which is supposed to be a yard-stick for every Collo man to follow and in which your 0rganization seems to disregard or does not know, you are hereby reminded that individuals are the carriers of the culture of any society and they are shaped by it and society through the process of socialization. This process is a complex and multifaceted through which individual's biological impulses are directed into cultural patterned channels. This means that every human infant comes into this world as helpless human being, a mere bundle of flesh and blood with a certain biological heritage and a few urges and reflexes.?? His? ?biological equipment lays the foundation upon which he is transformed into a full-grown up individual capable of participating into various societal activities such as politics which the '' Sic " claims to play. This individual or group of individuals come the acquire a set of attitudes and values, likes and dislikes, goals and purposes, pattern of response and a deep abiding concept of the sort of person, he is. The raw human material more or less animal is transformed into a social being with a distinct personality. The sort of personality which '' Sic " wants the Collo Community to recognize.?????????????????? ???????????????????????????????In narrating some quotations in your press release concerning Mr. Pagan Amum, the Secretary General of SPLM that -----he? demonstrated administrative weakness, political blunders and erratic behavior ---- which caused a lot of damage to the SPLM in the North etc --- that ? it is for the SPLM to have a Secretary General who is a Dinka than a Collo who scares Northerners away --- that the SPLM needs Northern? vote to win the 2009 elections --- any individual who chases Northern Sudanese away is more dangerous than the SPLM adversaries etc, etc.---?The above mentioned quotations clearly give the image that your 0rganization "Sic" is a non-Collo arrangement because no Collo Community worldwide could wish its dear members to rely on policies which favor the Northern Sudanese opinion nor any other society by disregarding its own members in order to rely on others for their welfare. It is because the Collo Kingdom which is the oldest and second to none is the existing system in Sudan and the whole world that had never relied on outsiders in its history and had used her members for any political welfare and the welfare of other societies such as SPLM in which the present Secretary General, who is a Collo is working efficiently according to the Southern Sudanese opinion and the world at large despite, your negative quotations. But if your " Sic" or "sick" Shilluk Internationally as it is supposed to be called, wants its members to become voluntary slaves of the Northern Sudanese Arabs in order to fish for luxuries and political positions and work for the destruction of the (CPA), it is upto you and not the Collo tribe which you claim to belong can be a part of such policies.?As regards to the quotation about ?the declaration of the union of? Nuer community in North America for the support of Mr. Telar Reng Deng's contest for the post of SPLM Secretary General?.. for reasons of being ?. A liberal person who believes in Western-style democracy, an easy-going, and open-minded fellow ? I can only consider this point as an insult to the Nuer Community in question, and to the Nuer tribe in particular. This is also an indication that your group intends to destroy the personality of Mr. Telar Reng Deng by including him in your camp.?The reasons why one should take up an initiative to write to you in this way is to ask you some of these questions (1) Where do you want to lead the Collo tribe? (2) If your "Sic" belongs to the Collo what are your motives behind such press releases ?. (3) Are they intended for the welfare of the Collo Community or for its destruction?. But, if the above questions do not have satisfactory answers, one is obliged to conclude that your 0rganization represents a group of lunatics who pretend to profess politics which do not serve the interest of the Collo tribe nor that of Southern. Sudanese in general or otherwise, it is an indication of lost of senses.I therefore, call upon the whole southern Sudanese Community and Mr. Telar Reng in particular to keep away from such 0rganizations which are meant to harm the personalities of the honourable SPLM leadership in order to pave way for those individual Southerners who are descending?? from the leadership of SPLM, because of their own personal interest which had exposed them nakedly to both the Collo and the Southern Sudanese Community. The behavior of "Sic" members takes us back to reckon with the famous song of late Chol Wad Nyalwat which says that " an individual may be considered to be a bad person for either of the following two options - (1) He may be evaluated to be? a bad ?person, because of God's ill creation. (2) He may be also considered as a bad person, because of the wrong up- brining by the irresponsible parents;?I therefore, I advise "Sic" group to keep in mind the above? mentioned song in order to learn more about the Collo culture if the 0rganization intends to work for the Collo welfare in the future, instead of its present negative policies which may bar it as mad-man's 0rganization, because of its negative and aimless policies!!!!.Newer articles:
