By Deng Emmillo Mou, South Africa-Pretoria,
Few days ago, some enemies of peace and Development stability in South Sudan fabricated a malicious allegation of '' The South Sudan Director General of Custom Duty Gen. Akol Ayii and Inspector General of Police Gen. Majak Akec has diverted a lump sum of money from the service tax division into their bank accounts in Uganda according to an officer working at the Department of Finance in Nimule Border town. The two are no longer reporting all the financial records to the National Revenue Authority because they have employed their most trusted colleagues in the system to help them''. by the Gen. Dr. Akol Ayii Madut this is propaganda as fake as those who concocted it. This allegation was invented by the politically defeated elders who are being backed by the hopeless lobbyists of South Sudan General Custom Services post.
As a concerned youth and the Current regime supporter of the South Sudan Government in particular, I would like to dispute and condemn in the strongest terms possible such mere and fabricated allegations labelled against our God fearing leader Dr. Akol Ayii Madut. Let me elaborate on the facts that Gen. Akol Ayii has no connection with the South Sudan inspector General of Police Gen. Majak Akech Balok, because he (Dr. Akol ) is a freeman from Corruption citizen like President Gen. Salva Kiir Mayardit, don’t let the enemies of progress deceive you in broad daylight.
He (Dr. Akol Ayii Madut) is a great leader that is oftentimes visionary and can strike a balance between foresight, integrity, courage, humility, performance, character, honesty and serve as a unifying factor for everyone. He ought to have mission, vision, courage, influence, humility, competence, passion and can focus strategically on achieving their mandate. Good leader is a successful finisher simply means from Him.
Leadership is a process by which a person influences others to accomplish an objective or directs an organisation to make it cohesive and coherent. It is the ability to build confidence and zeal, and create an urge to be led. It inspires confidence and support amongst group members towards achieving specific goals. Leadership involves mediating between individuals or organisations to achieve maximum satisfaction. Dynamic and effective leadership is always success-bound. Leadership style is the manner in which a leader directs & supervises members of his team with a view to influencing their performance positively.
This is the mould of Gen. Akol whose leadership prowess has consistently made him achieve enviable heights in all his life endeavours indeed South Sudan, He had seen all forms of leadership styles: Authoritarian, Participatory & Laissez-faire at different times. The effects of some of these are the reason why our society or Country is still largely Obviously underdeveloped.
His core interest for deciding to venture into leadership, is to use his God-given intellectual and material resources to selflessly serve humanity, as there seems to be a big disconnect between the leaders and the led.
Sometimes as a kid until one's old age, there's this particular food you would love to eat over and over again. You can savour this food anywhere anytime no matter who prepares it.
Truly, Dr. Akol Ayii Madut, is the man many call the 'Oracle', is like that food I never wished I could get less of. If you're a true lover of humanity with zero attachment to hate, this man is among the very few you would wish to have around, all day through.
Akol has in history, created many firsts as it concerns the political narrative drive in South Sudan, and as an individual, he has endeared much to his person nationally and internationally which everyone knows in the history of the country.
He is the most humble I've known as a person which he did not limit to even when he was the number one man in South Sudan as a Saver Director General of Custom services Across the nation, high profile individuals from all divides including religious leaders, bear witness of what a man Akol is.
One government official during Gen. Akol's Swearing-in as D.G of South Sudan Custom services in 2018, once said that one thing he had noticed about this kind-hearted individual is that he never saw him got angry even in the face of provocation or in any situation he supposed to feel angry or wear a contorted face.
I understand that this epitome of humility and pillar of democracy does not need to be always introduced to the public. He is already a household name - a Figure. We only write to refresh the memories and remind the naysayers we still have one of the few remaining great men and catalyst to positive political change and discourse in our country.
In conclusion, I call upon the National Government to take punishable action against whoever circulates hate speech or anti peace messages and Development in the social media. Social media is being misused by the political lobbyists to achieve their narrow political interest through the use of propaganda, hate speeches etc. I also appeal to my fellow youth and Elders to refrain from circulating propaganda and allegations against hard working, peace loving and God fearing leader Dr. Akol Ayii Madut Let’s use social media in a constructive and professional manner. Therefore, I am appealing to those who came across such political propaganda to disregard it immediately. I am calling on those who created and invented such malicious allegations and propaganda to immediately apologise to Gen. Akol Ayii Madut and also to the general public.
Gen. Akol Ayii Madut, you're God's gift. I know that what God has designed to use you to achieve not only for us here in South Sudan but for the entire Africa continent at large is still on the way and of course, imminent. It's a little bit away from now, but will come soon, come.
I pray that God will keep sustaining his wisdom, give you strong health and abundance of a fulfilled life upon you.
