My Respond to the Collo Church leaders

The Concern is regarding the articles that they have written and submitted by Rev/ Daniel Amum on 30,7,2010 on behalf of the Collo church leaders and believers whom served the Lord in Collo Land for insecurity in our land. My dear brothers I would like to take this opportunity to add some points on your article.

The Reality is this your Article touched some important points on breaches instability and insecurity in Collo land which causes many displacements and lost of innocent people life.

I would like to express my concern to join the voiceless some time we kept silent and keep watching and ignored what is going on in the community. The Church leaders should not keep distinct. The Church should raise its voice to make challenges and speak out the voice of Justice and peace and called for justice and reconciliation in the community.

What we should have hidden in our hearts should be told in the lights as Jesus said In the (John 8:32-35) if you hold to my teaching, you are real my disciples then you will know the truth, and the will set you free.

Lets me remark the three importance points that you have mentioned in your article as following:

1. the land dispute:

The British administration in 1930 made the districts and the boundaries to secure the various problems between the tribes. As You have mentioned the mains reasons are .

1. Accommodation settlement

2. Agricultures reason

3. Cattle reason

My question is how did the tribes live in South Sudan before the British Administration. ? And why Dinka didn’t claim their own ship land in 1930 or in 1935?

The reason you have mentioned is correct, but the main reason was that

The tribes have changed according to the modern interests of resources

1. The Dinka groups would like to occupy the water resources

2. Dinka want to occupy the Commercial marketing

3. They want to occupy the Development programmes

4. They want pay attention about the Education

5. They want to settle in Strategy areas

6. They want to gain the Political ideology

7. They want to gain the Oils

All the points mentioned above are to be implemented on the land not in air

Because Oils finds in the grounds

We do the commercial business on the land this where you must know the pieces of land

We build house on the land

When we die we will be buried in ground

The land is a human resources without land we will have no where to live

Collo must have clear view to manage their administration well to take care of the very importance issues that facing land at present not to harmed their young generations who are waiting to renter the beautiful land and uniqueness culture.

Disarmed programme:

During the two decades from 1995- 1972 and ended in 2005 inspection of any arms illegal should come through administration of a tribe leader

For examples Collo are well organised Tribe they have got their majesty Reth above the Collo Chiefs in Villages who are responsible of managing Collo concern .Any entering into the Collo land the majesty/ Reth should be consulted because he is responsible of Collo land. But this disarmament has political ideology mixed with disarments.

3.Accommodation:

Your accommodation or appealed to our governor Simon Kun Pouch and his governments in Upper Nile State and the Goss is very sufficient point. I disagreed with the point that the civilian should not be mixed with the army in the villages

1. Absolutely wrong planed the civilian would be in danger as you mentioned reasonable here the life of civilians would be at risk and their security would be in dangerous.

2. According to that wrong plan civilians life will be threaten all the time

3. The army should be separated from the civilians and the schools are the government services of education for example Kaal Abon Owac is a Catholic missionary and now it has been used as centre for touring prisons what is the difference between Sudanese army and the SPLA. Because both of them now have turned the churches into their own composes in the current war.

4. Nowadays the SPLA is following the same step of the Sudanese Army. Occupies school, Churches, ‘raping and looting. We have got surprised that SPLA will replace the Sudanese army causing insecurity in Collo land.

The role of the church is to preach the gospel among the communities. The gospel was enacted in the cultures to change the behaviour of human beings to know the living God.

The significant role of the Church is to change the community into the reality of the correction of the Worldviews or materialization thinking into the spiritual World views in (Romans 13:1-4) St Paul said the Government should be respected we are not the respected the government in the way of resisting their authority, but because God allowed the authority for correction outlaw brings them backs into lawful way, but if the Government turned its back not to protect what God has commended to do means the violation the God law.

I really would like to appreciate your voices as the voice of peace to advise the government of the Southern Sudan to stopped disarments and continuation of violence and raping, burning houses and looting properties in Collo land. The disbarments of the illegal guns in Collo land should be done in appropriate way.

The Sides of the parties:

The Collo is entries community not supporting any political party, but if there were people within the Collo community are belong to any other parties they should be accountable through their parties, because parties are political organisation or groups has difference choice to implementations their needs as individual organisation what is the difference between the community and the party? The different is that the community work to implement the interest of the community to overall and control the culture and traditional authority. In the community therefore there no choice, but the party is an individual choice. Collo as community has got grassroots backed too, the ancient’ history had many choices to implement human needs.

God created human beings as communities with unique cultures for example languages are secrete of the community. The raping, looting and destruction happened in the Collo land goes back to the ideology of conflicts of the culture mixed with interests of demanding of owns hip land belongs to others groups.

I gave thanks to Church leaders for their good initiatives to advise the government of the Southern Sudan and civil communities. Let us be aware about what is going in community Let us pay attention Bible said in (John 10:10) that Santa came to destroyed and killed and robbed.
