With pure blood, you were bought to accommodate the tired and the broken. The bones of your martyrs lie in depressions and in the bushes, symbolizing the sacrifices they offered.
From slavery, I want to be free, that is why my ancestors took up arms. Just to free me from the captivity of the oppressors.
Let peace and unity reign since the pure blood of the martyrs poured for these great virtues. Forever I want to be free in the land I treasure.
If wars and hatred engulf you again, oh my land, where then shall I dwell. Forever, I want to be home and feel the home’s atmosphere.
Even death I will wait for in the land I treasure. Within my blood flows your everlasting love. In home, I want to die.
I want to feel the freedom and joy that the martyrs died for. To North, South, West and East I want to roam because I am in my land. The land I treasure.
