South Sudan Challenges, Foreseeing future Strategy, Character, Policy and Selection of Leaders… (1)

Drip…! Drip…! Dripping Sweat of our Heroes trickled, and dropped. Drip…! Drip…! Dripping blood of our Martyrdoms, which mingled with their bitter tears, rolled, rolled and dropped; then those drops followed by jets, quenched the dry land, watered the plant, that was planted by the long struggle,  thence by the miracle of God produced the fruits and seeds of the efforts. Thus, cheered by our people:” Freedom Oyeeee, New Nation Oyeee”, ululated by our women and applauded worldwide.
This is how South Sudanese Citizens freed themselves at last after long decades of struggle, through referendum to celebrate their first Anniversary for the independence.
Suddenly, with a surprise the world community paused for a while! …Seems to them, the thing, which united South Sudanese citizens, was only the referendum! Now, things are not rosy… Things fall apart!
   Many questions were raised by world community as what is wrong with People of South Sudan! Why should they start fighting and killing themselves after getting their independence and peace! Killing their top police officers in Yambio before independence and at Nesitu road after independence! Killing or wounding their ministers who are the icons of the nation representing the top sovereignty!
Would South Sudanese like to kill their hopes and murder their Golden Historic Victory to be buried with their own hands in the sand of the forgotten time?
What are the kinds of these people, who hate the beauty, smash the flowers, and kill the white dove carrying a green leaf!
 An International Relations study says it must be an Anarchical Society!  

The woman from Norway dashed to the platform during our Celebration Day of first Anniversary for the Independence and said: “South Sudanese people had achieved little objectives, but there are still many challenges and thorny path needed to be paved by themselves to receive the world community acceptation”.  Nevertheless, Madam Hilde F. Johnson, who is the United Nations Special Representative of the Secretary- General (UNSRSG) for South Sudan, did not reveal those challenges, which she said need hard work and willingness to endure!
      Actually, it is true there still are many challenges. There is a warning of tribalism thunder’s flash in our dry rainbow Sky without rains! There is still crying of owl, the doomed night bird that predicts misfortunes, hovering around our societies and threatening our stability and Peace! This must be the thorny path that needs to be paved.
   Regarding the international perception of peace, Mahatma Gandhi said there are two kinds of peace: The one that silences the Guns and the other that makes Guns irrelevant. 

South Sudanese people are facing many challenges while preparing for future; Guns are not yet quiet in Jonglei state, and between the border, Sudan and South Sudan! Bitter border battles fuelled by oil, its national sharing debt, and mistrust are still there. The question of the 1800 km border, which separates two countries plus the question of nationalities, is there. Corruption and looting of public revenues, fuelling of tribalism by intellectuals, elites and leaders, nepotism, insecurity, lack of development, health, education services in addition to the perceptions of the World Community, all these are great challenges and thorny fish in the neck of a newborn Nation.
   What I am dissertating and sharing with you, are not only my views, but also analysis of international politics and perceptions of the world community.
   Back again, South Sudanese politicians shared a different view with the Government of Sudan. Therefore, they fought their way to stand on their own and be called an independent Country.
    De facto, South Sudan did not gain independence from a coloniser like most of African Countries, but it was a regional secession from (Sudan), which was a single country and a nation before, but failed to manage and lead its regions. The closest we can come to South Sudan experience is Eritrea, which also seceded from Ethiopia after decade of war.
Also, who of us have not heard of the North and South Korea conflict?
