In theory, democracy is the best form of government. It is the government of the people as eminent from the government of an individual or of a class of people. It makes all the citizens fascinated in their country by giving them a voice in regulation. It bounces them a feeling of importance and a sense of accountability. It therefore gives significance to their personality.
However, in political analyst emphasized, in contemporary times, no dictator can take total power by force alone. In order to gain support, they must offer something beneficial to the people. Inappropriately what is thought to be beneficial can be extremely harmful and cruel.Basically that was to build a classless society in which the means of production were in the hands of the people.
Another merit of democracy is that it is less liable to revolution than other forms of government. Meanwhile people themselves elect the members of government that can work on their behave but it doesn't work that way in Salva kiir government ,In additions to this, a democratic government usually guarantees freedom of thought and speech but not in kiir's government.
However, modern democracy rests on the principle of representation. The people elect their representatives by vote but in south Sudan president can still install people into power while they were rejected in their constituency.
As we speak, I don't see any progress to resolve the problematic that is facing South Sudanese under Kiir's administration because it will be like Somalia fighting with only one ethnic group or tribe in South Sudan, I believe it's a waste of time to negotiate with kiir. It is better for him to leave the country because if he is allowed to stay in power there will be more mistreatment and torturing on the Nuer either in security sectors or employment more than before .
December 15 meaningless massacre of unarmed women, children and the elderly in the Nuer Society in capital juba is profoundly sad beyond words. Yet, there is no words to describe the idiot President Salva Kiir. Apparently, he is too busy looting the government funds in Juba, however, leadership of Salva kiir is severely lacking in many things but it is the lack of leadership that innocent, unarmed people are massacred repeatedly. The SPLA has failed to carry out its purpose of protecting the citizens and their livelihoods positively since 2005.
Yours sincerely
