Shilluk politicians pay the price of politics of divisions among themselves. Currently Sudan is moving towards democratic transformation where political candidates are contesting at the counties level, states level, Juba the capital of South Sudan and finally to the SPLM convention to elect the leader of the SPLM party. As a result Dr. Peter Adwok Nyaba lost the local contest in Upper Nile State and this might be the result of chronic political divisions among Shilluk.
