Cde Emmanuel Adil Anthony is a Hand-Working and Peace Loving Governor of Central Equatoria State

The Governor of Central Equatoria, Cde Emmanuel Adil Athony is one of the most successful governors in South Sudan who deserves appreciation from the people for maintaining security stability, building and renovating public infrastructures and implementing SPLM policy of taking towns to the villages. 

Cde Emmanuel Adil is an SPLM oriented cadre who has a vision of making Central Equatoria conducive for all the South Sudanese since it hosts a capital city. His achievements are numerous and are known by the citizens of Central Equatoria and South Sudanese people at large.

He managed to attain security stability in Greater Yei when he was appointed as a governor of the defunct Yei River State. As a peace loving cadre, he achieved an everlasting peace in Defunct Yei River State in a matter of few months after his appointment. Cde Adil also made the defunct Yei River State an SPLM stronghold through mass mobilization and service delivery at the Grassroot levels.

In 2020 after the dissolution of the 32 states by H.E Excellency President Salva Kiir Mayardit, our Chairman of Mighty party SPLM. 

Cde Emmanuel Adil was appointed as a governor of the unified Central Equatoria State. He was appointed at the time when Central Equatoria was experiencing a crisis ranging from insecurity, underdevelopment, lack of social services and poor infrastructures. Upon taking oath of office as governor of unified Central Equatoria State, Cde Emmanuel Adil embarked on stabilizing security, disseminating the revitalize peace agreement, improving physical infrastructures, facilitating peaceful migration of cattle keepers to the areas of their origin and mobilizing support for Sudan People's Liberation Movement.

Cde Emmanuel Adil launched construction of several roads that are linking Juba with counties as well as county headquarters with Payams. The example of the road construction which he initiated are Juba- Lobonok road, Juba - Yei road, Terekaka- Tindilo Tali road, Laiyna, Morobo etc. Cde Adil also approved a budget for building or rehabilitating government offices at County and Payam levels and this is an implementation of SPLM policy of taking towns to villages.

Cde Emmanuel Adil worked hard to achieve security stability in Greater Yei and Terekaka Counties. Indeed, he managed to achieve total security stability in the previous insecure areas. Those areas which were previously insecure are now like paradise in terms of peacefulness. He also launched massive dissemination of the Revitalize Peace Agreement on the Resolution of the Conflict in the Republic of South Sudan by touring all the payams and counties across Central Equatoria State.

As a visionary and SPLM oriented Cadre, he mobilized the population of Central Equatoria State to rally behind SPLM and President Salva Kiir through the launching of SPLM Renaissance. As a part of making Juba City a safe haven for all, Cde Emmanuel Adil instructed the administration of Juba City Council to keep the environment clean as well as opening internal roads in Juba city.
