We, the Chollo youths in Australia are joining our voice to the voice of Chollo Intellectuals Committee (CIC) in Juba in their courageous letter against Kiir' s government ongoing plan of grabbing our ancestors' land by force. The Chollo youth in Australia would like to take this opportunity to thank and support Chollo intellectuals Committee (CIC) in South Sudan for their strong statement of rejection of the president's decree in regard to the issue of creating 28 states in Southern Sudan.
We, the Chollo Youth would also like to thank our politicians in Juba for their bold movement and disapproval of unfair decisions of Kiir's government. This is the continental violation of the South Sudan constitution for giving our beloved City of Malakal to Dinka Padang via his oppressive states' powers.
We, the Chollo Youth in Australia' strongly rejected and condemn the unethical decree of Kiir's government for using states' powers to take our ancestors' land to his cousin Dinka Padang in Upper Nile. These strategies will not de-escalate the tension between our Chollo youth on the ground as well as on social media.
The Kiir's decision will increase the social hatred and will diminish the great values of social association and pluralism between people of Malakal. This decision is a continuation of Kirr's plan which begins by taking (Pigo) in 2005. It was a serious breach of human rights, social justice and unfair action against Chollo people in South Sudan by Kiir's regime in Juba.
We, the Chollo youths are asking Kirr's government in Juba to reschedule this decree of creating 28 states for the sake of tranquility and sustainability in South Sudan.
We, the Chollo youth would like to remind Dinka Padang to be vigilant and understand the consequences of taking color land through aggressive and abusive behavior by Kiir's government that doesn't respect the rights of Chollo people in Upper Nile- Malakal.
We, the Chollo Youth in Australia are not interested in the anti-social approach and anti-discrimination by Kiir's government in Juba. Therefore, we had rejected this decree in strong words because this is against our social sentiment and disintegration of intermarriage between people of Upper Nile- Malakal.
Many thanks.
