Always Be Tolerant (ABETO) has called for international immediate response to clashes between South Sudan and Sudan to avoid any further bloodshed clashes on the continent.

ABETO is an NGO with an objective of creating tolerance and peace on the African continent.

"We call upon those involved in the conflicts; the African Union and the United Nations to quickly respond to this time bomb that may explode anytime into full scale war. We should not wait for situations like Syria before the international community responds," Moses Musana the Chairman ABETO said in a statement.

He explained that the Khartoum government being the mother of the new country (South Sudan) has an obligation to see and nurture its child into an independent country than wedging war against it.

He also urged civil society organizations operating in the two countries to lead their governments to peace restoration.

"While we are mindful of the fact that war is the highest form f diplomacy we recognize the resultant effects of armed confrontation. The most important approach at the time is through tolerance, dialogue, and peaceful resolution." He said.

This comes a time when there are current clashes between the two countries over a territorial area ownership.

Recently South Sudan claimed that Sudan bombed two towns in Unity state where four civilians were killed and over 2o wounded. Also the United Nations peacekeepers and oil fields in the region of Heglig are said to have been bombed.

The coming into being of government of South Sudan was a result of protracted struggle which went on for over decades of armed confrontation.
