Khartoum - The South Kordofan Legislative Council described the attacks on some of the areas in South Kordofan launched by the South Sudan army as implementation of a plan orchestrated by some entities to transform the state into a platform to sabotage and disrupt the entire country.
The general secretary of the South Kordofan legislative Council Alrifa'ai Ramadan Rifaa'ai said that the current war in South Kordofan is executed by some mercenaries and hoodlums whose main goal is the prevention of peace in Sudan. In a statement to (Sudan Vision), he said that a delegation from the South Kordofan legislature consisting of the head of the legislature, his deputy and several of its members, paid a visit to Gezira State where they met with the members of the legislature and explained to them the magnitude of the conspiracy that SPLA is implementing in South Kordofan and the scale of aggression on Heglig. They further articulated the political and security conditions in South Kordofan State, affirming that Gezira Legislature has expressed its solidarity and support with South Kordofan in driving back the aggression and aborting the aggressors' plan.
Alrifaa'ai said that the council is informing the citizens of South Kordofan about the conspiracy of South Sudan and all its facets. He confirmed their readiness to abort this plot and defend all the citizens.
Alrifaa'ai revealed the fact that the SPLA of South Sudan is detaining some civilians and using them as human shields in the military operations it's executing in South Kordofan. He declared the launching of an activity in which all political affiliates are involved, an activity whose aim is to stand up to the disruptive attempts of South Sudan.
Alrifaa'ai stipulated that the SPLA of South Sudan does not possess the ability to carry out destructive operations in Sudan in spite of the clear support it received from certain foreign entities which do not wish Sudan to be stable.
