The Bul Community Members held their 3rd General Assembly in Unity State- Bentiu this morning and endorsed Former Chairperson of Bul Community Association Steering Committee Maj. Gen. John Bol Mayah as the Chairperson. According to Article (17) clause (a) of the Bul Community Association Constitution, 2020 (amended) 2021,the assembly has the right to elect or endorse the Chairperson and executive Committee.
The 3rd General Assembly was attended by three hundred and fifty five (355) Delegates from all Payams of Mayom County and unanimously endorsed Maj. Gen John Bol Mayah as the Chairperson,Seventeen(17) Executives Committee, Chairpersons of specialized Committee and advisors respectively.
Speaking to media after the endorsement of Maj. Gen John Bol Mayak as the Chairperson of Bul Community Association, the Secretary of Information and Communication Hon Kuichiang Kuol said,the 3rd General Assembly after long deliberation on the issue of the leadership have unanimously endorsed Maj John Bol Mayak as the Chairperson and Hon Mawiclou Chillieny Malieth as the Deputy Chairperson of Bul Community Association. The General Assembly also endorsed seventeen (17 ) Executive committees,Speaker and deputy Speaker plus advisors,Kuichiang added.
The 3rd General Assembly was convened at the request from Bul Community members in the Country and Diaspora for the purpose of unity on one leadership,and to fight for the common interests of Bul Community globally. The Motto of the Assembly “Unity and Development towards Peaceful Coexistence and Reconciliation.
