This morning, I came across a malicious article authored against the Executive Director in the Office of President Cde James Deng Wal Achien, by the confused and uninformed local clan association that calls itself Aguok-Akuei Youth Concern. The primitive group of youth under the fake umbrella of Aguok-Akuei Youth Concern, were armed with false ideas about Cde James Deng Wal by their son who is yearning to replace him ( Deng) through community and clan incitement. The misinformed youth quickly coined the name of Aguok-Akuei Youth Concern and rushed to social media with the misleading ideas , without knowing that Cde James Deng Wal is a government civil servant and not their community leader or traditional chief. Where on the earth can a clan association get powers to call for the removal of a government civil servant?
In their fake article, the hired youth under the umbrella of the Aguok-Akuei Youth Concern levelled several baseless charges against the committed and hard-working Executive Director in the office of President. The paid youth described Cde James Deng Wal as the hornful devil and disaster behind the destruction of the office of President. The members of Aguok-Akuei Youth Concern have forgotten that Cde James Deng Wal is the one who worked hard to improve the infrastructure status of the office of President through renovation of the premises and beautification of the state house environment. How can an agent of development be misdescribed as devil and disaster. These two misplaced words don't fit in the description of Cde James Deng Wal. There is no doubt that the youth who described Cde John Deng Wal as devil and disaster might have been armed with misleading ideas and hired with corrupted dollars by the lobbyist who are lobbying for the position of the Executive Director in the office of President
The members of Aguok-Akuei Youth Concern accused Cde James Deng Wal of filling his office with what they misdescribed as " incompetent Aweilian boys and prostitutes". Let me be sincere to all of you that Cde James Deng Wal has neither employed any relative nor anyone from his state in the office of President. The office of President is not a direct employer. The office of President usually receives government employees from different public institutions who are being assigned by their respective departments to go and work in the presidency. Where do Cde James Deng Wal get powers to employ his homeboys yet his office isn't a direct employer?.
They also accused him of embezzling 500,000 dollars in the name of painting and fence. The members of Aguok-Akuei Youth Concern must know that estimating the budget for the renovation or construction of a new building is a collective effort of several departments in the presidency. For Example, there is finance department and procurement department. The role of Cde James Deng Wal as an Executive Director in the office of President is to oversee and supervise the staff in the presidency but not budget estimation. There are procurement procedures that are followed to arrive at figures for any renovation or new buildings and decisions is not one person to decide in the presidency. The members of Aguok-Akuei Youth Concern have falsely accused him without evidence and these baseless accusations constitute deformation and crime according to the Transitional Constitution of the Republic of South Sudan. Cde James Deng Wal deserves the right to sue these primitive members of Aguok-Akuei Youth Concern in any court of law for defaming him.
In their article, the misinformed members of Aguok-Akuei Youth Concern claimed that Cde James Deng Wal has blocked their son John Akec from becoming a minister of finance and economic planning during the formation of the Revitalized Government of National Unity. The uninformed members of Aguok-Akuei Youth Concern should be informed that the recommendation to various ministerial positions was done by the political bureau of the Sudan People's Liberation Movement. This means the SPLM political bureau sat down and recommended their senior members to various political positions and submitted their lists to their chairman Cde Salva Kiir Mayardit. Who is James Deng Wal in the SPLM hierarchy to block the appointment of any recommended party member?. James Deng Wal is not even a political post holder but he is a mere Civil Servant in the office of President. The public should disregard this baseless accusation. The intention of Aguok-Akuei Youth Concern is to create hatred and enmity between Cde James Deng Wal and Prof. John Akec.
The same hired members of Aguok-Akuei Youth Concern accused Cde James Deng Wal of sexual exploitation. What this hopeless youth in the name of Aguok-Akuei Youth Concern need to know is that Cde James Deng Wal is a responsible man who has a wife and children. Biblically or constitutionally, it constitutes a sin or crime to accuse a responsible married man of sexual exploitation. It is not in any of sixty four tribes cultures to describe a married man as "womanizer". The few dollars paid to the members of Aguok-Akuei Youth Concern have blindfolded them to the extent of not preserving our cultures and ethics as South Sudanese.
Finally, Aguok-Akuei Youth Concern as a community association has no powers to call for the removal of a government civil servant. A clan association is non political and the constitution prohibits it from interfering in the political affairs of the country. The members of Aguok-Akuei Youth Concern may have a right to demand the removal of James Deng Wal if he ( Deng) is their executive chief or community leader. But James Deng Wal is a senior government Civil Servant and any clan association has no powers to either attack him or call for his removal. Therefore, the general public is urged to disregard whatever was written by the members of Aguok-Akuei Youth Concern against the Executive Director in the office of President. There is an urgent need to separate community or clan affairs from the government affairs.
I am warning all the lobbyists who are lobbying for the position of the executive director in the office of President to refrain from clan or community incitement as a method of securing the position. Using one's clan or community to lobby for a government position is what resulted into the current crisis in our country. Anyone interested in becoming an executive director in the office of President must apply an appropriate mechanism of lobbying instead of applying clan or community politics.
