Dear Wati Nyikango,
I thank and praise God from whom all blessings flow that I have lived to this day, when the Independence of the South Sudan is within easy reach for so many of us who have been for years with one leg in the grave for reasons of war injuries, diseases and physical tortures for freedom, and political inspirations.
My message is this: The South Sudan is to be Independent on the July 9th 2011. So many people have perished for this struggle. They include Aggrey Jaden a Pajulo, Joseph Otuha a Latuka, Isboni Mandiri a Moru, Hilary Logali a Bari , all from Equatoria. In Bahr El Ghazal we had Clement Mboro, Gordon Moutat, William Deng, and Gordon Abiey. In Upper Nile we had Both Diu, Luigi Adwok, George
Akumbek Kwanai, and Akuot Atem. These names are from my own memory of our Heroes of yesterday, but many more will be recorded by historians. So, we are to celebrate our success in the vote casted by our southern people from all walks of life, there must be peace and order from now on in the Chollo Kingdom.
There is already rebellion, which seems calculated, to halt the raising of the flag for this new country of ours. The Nuers seem to think "it is their turn" especially when they tie it to the Ngundeng prophecy. It appears with the help of the north, they may disrupt the preparations for the Independence of the South. The battle ground for this war between the GOSS and the breakaway groups, shall be fought in the Chollo Kingdom . The rebel forces will target Malakal as their headquarters, while President Salva Kiir may continue as head of government in Juba . Under these circumstances, it is my well considered opinion that the Chollo have to hurry with their land case before the Independence Day of South Sudan.
Our politicians of the day are as dogs and cats to one another, probably for leadership recognition by either us or the king makers of the southern politics. Dr. Lam, we understand wants to go to court with H.E Pagan Amum. I am sure each of them has money for court fees and advocates. Dr Peter Adwok Nyaba seems to think that we have to go to court with the GOSS immediately, over the so-called Piggi county of Jonglei State which is situated inside the Upper Nile State . As a Government minister he cannot lead a case against himself. In a nutshell, we only need to stop the court cases against ourselves and use these funds for our case over our homeland. If there are no fellows ready to stand in the court for our dear ancestral land, I am ready for the same, along with my brethren. With this, I humbly beg to request you to put your hands together and open a case for restoration of our land.
I am earnestly awaiting your very urgent and prompt response please.
James Agor
