Governor Simon Kun On recent information got from reliable sources within Upper Nile Government, a meeting was held between Governor Simon Kun (Pictured), Finance Minister Ayong Aware and the son of Late Paramount Chief Thonwai. The out of the meeting was that they have information that Collo Soldiers returning from Wadakon might cross to east bank of Nile. The son of Thonwai was given the command of the Akoka Militia to organize an attack should that happen. He was well facilitated with money from public treasury to buy fuel and other necessities he might need to carry this attack.

What Ayong Aware and his Dinka did not realized was that they were out witted politically by Simon Kun to commit this act. Simon Kun from the first day did not like Shilluk. He was a fith coloum in SPLM supporting SPLM-OI. Simon Kun managed to turn the conflict around from Shilluk vs Nuer to Dinka vs Shilluk; a success history.

Dinka community have been holdings series of meetings in Malakal, Palioch, Melut and Renk to mobilize themselves to attack Shilluk every where. There reports, they have killed a number of Shilluk in Polioch. Stephen Diu and Joseph Bol Chan visited Polioch. The purpose of the visit is yet to be known.

Ayong Aware had to escape from Malakal on a cargo plan on the pertext he was going to be kiledl by Shilluk.

The first attack in which Major-Genral James Bwogo was murdered and other Collo Sodiers at Nyigar bridge were either killed or wounded was commanded by the son of Thonwai. In this attack, three drivers employees of WFP from Shilluk were abducted or killed in Akoka.

The second attack was carried by Dinka SPLA from Palioch. Because they did not know that the soldiers gaurding Lul brigde were SPLA from Mathiang Agor who were put there by the government as a buffer zone between Dinka Militia of Akoka in the north and Collo Soldiers to the south untill the investigation team could come from Juba. The investigation team has witness the attack because they were in Kodok by the time. Hopefully, they will know who the aggresor was.

At the moment the Dinka are being armed in Palioch with weapons airlifted from Juba in anticipation of mounting of continual attacks of Shilluk villages on the east bank of the Nile up to Malakal.

The picture below is showing Shilluk in Melut trying to escape to west bank of the Nile. Ten t to fifteen thousand Shilluk civilians have crossed the Nile to west bank.

The tension in Gerger, Renk, Melut and Akoka is very high as mentioned earlier some Shilluk citizens have called out in their houses in Polioch and killed.

Shilluk should know soon they will be fighting with government of Juba. They will not find Shilluk lying on their stomachs
