Juba Network Company Limited, a Bangladeshi-owned internet service provider in South Sudan, has been awarded the Chamber Quality Award 2023 by the South Sudan National Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture.
The company has been recognized for its efforts to provide the best internet service in the country. The award was presented in a ceremony on December 15.
Sohel Muhammad Abdullah, chairman of Juba Network, said the award has brought honour to both him and Bangladesh. The recognition will inspire him and his company to continue providing excellent service to their clients despite the numerous challenges faced in the country.
Hailing from Chittagong, Sohel launched Juba Network in South Sudan in 2017. After a couple of years of hard work, the company introduced high-speed internet to the country with the installation of an optical fibre network across the Ugandan border.
