South Sudan striker Tito Okello says they want to correct their mistakes in the loss to Mali when they face Harambee Stars on Tuesday in an international friendly match primed for the Kasarani Stadium in Nairobi.

The Bright Stars lost 4-0 to Mali in AFCON qualifiers and Tito says they’re keen to bounce back to winning ways as they build their younger squad.

"The Mali match was a lesson learnt; now we want to correct the mistakes when we face Harambee Stars tomorrow," said the former Gor Mahia striker.

He added, "It is a great feeling being here because we as the East Africa community feel at home and we hope it will be a good exercise."

In their match against Mali, Bandari FC new acquisition Jackson Dwang made his debut when he clocked 90 minutes for the Bright Stars while Kenya Police defender Rashid Toha also played the entire match as his team mate Tito Okello came off the bench.

National Super League newbies Rainbow FC's Paul Jawa was an unused substitute in the match.

They finished last in group G behind Mali, Gambia and Congo in the qualifiers.

South Sudan who arrived in the country on Sunday will have a feel of the Kasarani Stadium Monday from 4pm ahead of tomorrow's match.

Meanwhile the host Harambee Stars will also train at the match venue from 6pm aiming to sharpen their edges before they entertain the guests.

The Engin Firat coached side are brimming with confidence after nailing a crucial 2-1 win over Qatar in Doha last week.

The match will kick off at 4pm.
