Kenya Police FC have bolstered their squad with the acquisition of Tito Okello and Rashid Toha from South Sudan for the ongoing 2023-24 Kenya Premier League season.

Okello, a striker by trade, has signed a one-year contract with the law enforcers.

The 27-year-old forward has a wealth of experience.

The hawk-eyed striker has played for Iranian club Paykan FC. He has also played for Vipers, Benfica Macau, SC Villa, Bul FC, African Lyon, Mbeya City, and KCCA FC.

Okello also had a stint with record Kenya champions Gor Mahia.

Toha is a ball-playing center-back and has penned a two-year deal.

The former Arua Hills FC player in the Ugandan Premier League also donned the colors of Vipers SC and Onduparaka FC.

“Looking on is the Kenya Police FC team manager Vincent Makokha, AIG, and Club's Legal officer IP Stephen Nsongo. The two are looking forward to a successful season. Welcome aboard,” read the Tweet from the team

As part of the revamp, Salim Babu has been brought in as an assistant coach while Nowel Mandi will be the team's physiotherapist.

Police finished third last season in the FKF league after accumulating 64 points, six points behind eventual champions Gor Mahia.

Police registered a goalless draw against Kariobangi Sharks in the season opener last weekend.
