Network Airline Services (NAS) has been appointed as the UK and Ireland cargo GSA for Sudan’s Badr Airlines.
The airline commenced scheduled flights between London Gatwick and Khartoum, operating a passenger B737-800 aircraft, at the end of February.
“NAS is delighted to be selling the cargo capacity of Badr Airlines” commented John Gilfeather, sales director of NAS.
“This is the only direct flight between Europe and Sudan which allows us to provide a vital link for the shippers to not only Sudan, but also connections to many destinations in need of additional capacity from Europe such as Chad, Eritrea, South Sudan and Ethiopia.”
NAS was appointed as the cargo GSSA for Air Arabia Sharjah[1] in Italy in January.
In the same month, the company was also appointed as the GSSA for TAAG Angola Airlines[2] in the UK and Ireland.
Network Aviation Group heads up a range of wholly owned and inter-related aviation companies that cover aviation cargo sales, logistics and management of freighter and passenger aircraft.
The group manages a fleet of freighter aircraft on a network of scheduled routes and charters throughout the world and handles over 80,000 tonnes of cargo annually.
