
South Sudan's national oil and gas company, Nilepet, will be participating at this year's South Sudan Oil & Power 2022 Conference
JUBA, South Sudan: Energy Capital & Power (ECP) ( is proud to announce South Sudan's national oil and gas company, the Nile Petroleum Corporation (Nilepet) ( as host and platinum sponsor of the upcoming South Sudan Oil & Power (SSOP) ( conference. With this year's edition of SSOP centered around the important role energy companies play in ensuring the growth of the economy, Nilepet serves as a key participant and will be instrumental for promoting South Sudan as the gateway to east African energy.
Returning for its fifth edition, the SSOP 2022 conference represents the east African country's premier energy event, building on South Sudan's extensive regional network and showcasing opportunities across key sectors for policymakers, investors and corporate decision-makers. This year, key topics include the interaction of oil companies with communities, future projects and expansion of the industry and ensuring local participation and job creation.

This year's two-day conference will take place from 13-14 September in South Sudan's capital city of Juba, positioning the country as Africa's brightest prospect for growth and development.
