South Sudanese politician and business mogul Bibi Ali threw his daughter a very glamorous wedding with a chopper dropping rose petals among the main highlights of the event.

People who saw the wedding on online platforms could not help but wish something like that happened to them as well
Grand chopper dropping petals
The wedding of South Sudanese politician, Bibi Ali's daughter was like no other as part of the celebrations showed a grand chopper dropping petals all over the wedding venue.
The lavish wedding was held in Kenya and many people were green with envy, saying that it was their dream wedding and they could only wish for such beauty and class at their weddings as well.“This is stunning congrats darling yala Nas juba girls, if your wedding is not like this, no helicopter dropping roses, I beg please don’t post it because we won’t comment, as for me this the latest stunning wedding, the rest are traditional period!” said Grace Bismarck.
Treated to a lovely concert
In the evening, the two and their guests were also treated to a lovely concert where they all danced to their hearts' content.
According to www.mywedding.co.ug[3], there were people who were not impressed by the glamour and money poured at the wedding against the backdrop of poverty in the country.
Some of Ali's countrymen showed anger and bitterness when photos of the wedding were shared on social media.
“So what should we do. Tell him street kids are dying in Juba coz of hunger,” Alazi Brenda commented.
“He is an MP representative of his Constituency as People’s voice yet his voters are starving to death because of hunger. He could have bought 2000 bags of Sorghum to distribute to vulnerable Communities in his village would have made a great change in their lives than such a costly wedding,” Nyanabun Mawien Kok commented.
Cast aspersions on the lady
Some also cast aspersions on the lady getting married on her big day.
“Wasting of recourse as if she will not cheat on him,” Governor Gemenze said.
“May the spirit of children and women who starved to death in South Sudan make that marriage a big headache to that man so that they break up,” Ustaz Wol posted.
One person, however, argued that the daughter shouldn't be criticized for having hardworking parents.
Daughter of a businessman
“I think the message is clear”the daughter of a businessman”, why victimise her for the sweat of her dad. She deserves to enjoy since her dad struggled for that wealth,” Chol Gumnok.
Still, some people on social media argued that he should have brought his daughter’s wedding to Juba instead of taking it to another country.
“Let’s wait to witness a wedding by helicopter soon in Juba, us south Sudanese don’t need to be shown something like this… it’s a temptation to our Tycoons,” Lico Showman.
Umbrella-Shaped Cake
Meanwhile, a couple who got married in a glamorous wedding shared a video showing their wedding cake [4]baked in an umbrella-shaped form.
It also entailed four wing-like parts that span and opened from below.
The video also showed the cake designed on wheels with beautiful decorations around and spinning as the wings open. Their event wowed many people and sparked the online community with mixed reactions about the cake.
