(MENAFN)The EU and the Inter-Governmental Authority on Development (IGAD) gave medical supplies to South Sudan to help its national rejoinder to control the Coronavirus.

The donation, including 500,000 surgical masks, 100,000 surgical cups, 100,000 N95-type masks, 30,000 testing kits and four ambulances, are going to defend and enable frontline healthcare workers to effectively carry out their duties in the Coronavirus pandemic.

A representative of South Sudan's Health Ministry, Dr. Bortel Ohisa, appreciated international partners for helping the country controlling the Coronavirus.
