(MENAFN - Saudi Press Agency) Juba, December 1, 2020, SPA -- A specialized team from King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has visited the Republic of South Sudan to review the damages caused by floods and assess the humanitarian needs of displaced people. The visit comes in implementation of the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to review relief and humanitarian needs in the Republic of South Sudan.During the visit, the Team met with Vice President Rebecca Nyandeng De Mabior in the capital Juba. The Vice President expressed thanks to the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and HRH Crown Prince for their humanitarian initiative towards her country. She also praised KSrelief's work in this regard, pointing out that the Center is the first humanitarian organization in the Middle East to respond to the call of the Republic of South Sudan to review the country's humanitarian needs.The Team also met with other senior officials, where they discussed what can be provided in the humanitarian and relief field for those affected in floods areas and in displaced people camps in the Republic of South Sudan.KSrelief's Team is expected to conduct humanitarian needs assessment rounds in the field in affected areas during the next few days.--SPA15:44 LOCAL TIME 12:44 GMT 0009
