Canada’s Ambassador to South Sudan Alan Hamson has urged the government to prioritize investments in people, not war.
Speaking at a rally in Northern Bahr al Ghazal last week, Ambassador Hamson said he was disappointed by the ongoing conflict in the world’s youngest nation. He appealed to the government of South Sudan to invest in citizens instead of war.
The Canadian diplomat reaffirmed his government’s commitment to support peace and development in South Sudan.
