Last night, I came across a malicious article written by a certain hunger traumatized Writer known as Deng Yel Deng. The writer wrote so much nonsense against both the Director General of South Sudan Custom Service and the Economic Crisis Management Committee led by the Vice President Dr. Wani Igga. He accused the Economic Crisis Management Committee of favouring the Director General of South Sudan Custom Service Maj. Gen. Dr. Akol Ayii.
To be frank, the Director General of South Sudan Custom Service Maj. Gen Dr. Akol Ayii Madut was not favoured by E.C.M.C's report but the report was a true result of the investigation. The Economic Crisis Management Committee carried out a thorough investigation and found Maj. Gen. Dr Akol Ayii innocent. This means Gen Akol Ayii was not favoured. The food writer Mr. Deng Yel Deng further claimed in his article that the Economic Crisis Management Committee under H.E Dr. Wani Igga was being bribed with 15 millions United States Dollars by the Director General of South Sudan Custom Service Gen. Akol Ayii Madut. This is baseless. By the way, the Director General of South Sudan Custom Service Gen. Akol does not have such a huge amount of money in his account. Maj. Gen. Dr. Akol Ayii Madut is the poorest Director General among the Director Generals of South Sudan Custom Service. Where can he acquire such a huge amount of dollars while he ( Akol) recently sold off his personal house due to the lack of money?
In addition, The Economic Crisis Management Committee should drag this hunger traumatized Writer Mr. Deng Yel Deng to the court for defaming them. Accusing a legal committee of being bribed without evidence amounts to defamation according to the transitional constitution of the Republic of South Sudan. So Mr. Deng Yel Deng should produce a document in the court which shows the committee has received fifteen millions dollars from Gen. Akol Ayii as bribery.
The same writer Mr. Deng Yel Deng claimed in his article that the Director General of South Sudan Custom Service Gen. Dr. Akol Ayii has more than 50 cars in his compound in Juba. This is a pure lie. Maj. Gen. Akol Ayii doesn't have a personal vehicle leave alone the fifty cars. The current V.8 which he is using as a personal mobility was donated to him by Akol Ayii junior of Trinity oil. I personally went to his compound in Juba and I didn't see a motorbike leave alone a car. The Director General of South Sudan Custom Service doesn't own any vehicle either in Juba or in Nimule.
In conclusion, The general public should know that the Director General of South Sudan Custom Service is as clean as snow. Gen. Akol Ayii Madut hasn't corrupted any money even a single pound. Whatever is being written against him by his detractors in the social media are baseless. Therefore, I am calling upon the social media users who came across the article of the Nairobi hunger traumatized writer Mr Deng Yel Deng, to disregard it. The article of Mr. Deng Yel Deng was just intended to tarnish the good image of the most respected Director General of South Sudan Custom Service Gen. Dr. Akol Ayii Madut.
