Press Release: Dinkas Watchdog Group

The following points are our own view-points about Dinkas’ Communities stand when it comes to IGAD-Plus peace that was signed last month by two parties involved much in our country on going conflict. We base this opinion of ours on some of our communities presses released so far.

(A) Dinkas seem to be for peace so far according to their presses been released, although they have some corrections need to be done within the IGAD-Plus peace.

In our analogy when it comes to their presses viewpoints, it is fair to say, much of their presses views need peace to come to our country of South Sudan. So these communities are not totally against an entire IGAD-plus peace. Their supports for IGAD-Plus peace is over 90% for peace. So we Grade them as “A-” for peace.

(B) Dinkas seem to be much more against IGAD-Plus peace or totally prefer conflict to be the only solution to our problem.

Right now, we have only one community under this point, but we may have more later on if other Dinkas’ branches decided to release their presses in regard to IGAD-Plus peace. In our own analogy, any groups being categorized under this point is totally a Grade “D-” for peace.

1. Bor Dinka:  “Bor Community Leaders in the USA: We are with the government of South Sudan on IGAD-Plus peace proposal.” To us, this title itself doesn’t make sense at all. We believe the true government has not her own position otherwise the government is not for people. What we know, the actually government for the people always make decision based on it citizens viewpoints. (C) Dinkas not release any press yet about IGAD-Plus Peace. Nobody know where they stands because they have not release anything. So we Grade them as “F”.
