The Competitions Committee of the South Sudan Football Federation (SSFF) has officially released the match schedule for the First Round of the 2026-27 South Sudan Premier League.
In an official circular signed by SSFF Secretary General Adv. Bak Athian Bak and issued to all Premier League club secretaries, the federation outlined the timeline, venues, and administrative directives for the upcoming campaign.

Kick-off Date: Saturday, August 22, 2026
First Round Conclusion: Sunday, December 13, 2026
Opening Fixture: El Merriekh SC vs. Munuki SC at Buluk Playground (3:00 PM)
Primary Venues: Buluk Playground and Juba National Stadium
𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐬
The official calendar incorporates pauses in the domestic campaign to accommodate international and continental fixtures:
CAF Interclub Engagement (1st Preliminary Round): September 4–9 (1st Leg) and September 11–13 (2nd Leg) FIFA International Window (AFCON Qualifiers 2027): September 21 – October 6
FIFA International Window (AFCON Qualifiers 2027): November 9–17
The SSFF further directed all participating clubs to review the official match schedule and begin technical and logistical preparations to ensure squad readiness for the opening round.
