Juba, Nov. 11 (SUNA) – Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Prof. Siddiq Tawer, has met in Juba with the Vice – President of the Republic of South Sudan, Rebecca Nyadeng de Mabior, Prof. James Wanega, Taban Deng, and Hussein Abdul-Bagi, separately.
In a press statement, Prof. Tawer said that he informed the Vice – Presidents of South Sudan State, on the commitment of the government to implement the Juba peace agreement which was sponsored by the government of South Sudan State.
He affirmed the concern and the great role that can be played by Sudan government in boosting the peace process in South Sudan State.
Prof. Tawer indicated that the meetings touched on the importance of cementing the bilateral relations for the interest of the two countries and the future generations as well as strengthening the cooperation to achieve stability and political security in the two countries.
