The diplomat's statements came during his participation in "the annual review of basic education" forum in South Sudan in the presence of South Sudanese Vice-President for public services Hussein Abdel Baqi and Education Minister Awut Deng Acuil.
The Foreign Ministry hailed on its Facebook page the strength of relations binding the two countries.
He added that Egypt, since the 70's of the last century, has been offering scholarships to south Sudan and also continued to offer assistance to the construction of technical schools there.
