In a statement by the Sudanese foreign ministry on Sunday, Sudan also reiterated its support for any other efforts that seek to establish peace in South Sudan.
The government "does not intend to create new forums for peace talks or provide any proposals or plans to the parties in Khartoum, in respect of ongoing negotiations," the statement says.
The ministry also thanked the delegations of the South Sudanese government and the South Sudanese opposition army for choosing Khartoum as the venue for current peace talks upon their sole initiative.
