Let Christ Rule Your Hearts, Gen. Akol Lion Kuch Easter Message

Gen. Akol Koor Kuch, popularly known as (A True Leader Par Excellence) has urged Christians across the country to open up and allow Jesus Christ a free reign in their hearts this Easter and beyond.

According to him, “when we allow Jesus to reign in our lives; we have allowed love, peace and happiness to dwell in our hearts. And when there’s peace in our hearts, there will be peace in the world because only a peaceful people can create a peaceful world.”

He elucidated his wishes to his people of South Sudan, as he urged them to remain steadfast in the lord.

Happy Easter to you and your family as we celebrate our Father’s greatest sacrifice through his Son, Jesus Christ, You deserve nothing but happiness to bloom all year. Wishing you sunshine and a basket full of chocolate blessings, he stated with a deep sense of accomplishment and probity.

Gen. Akol Koor Kuch, as a good leader with a generous spirit understands the needs and connects the dots for his people – the dots that help them see how the work they perform, no matter how small it may be. He shared rice, yam among other foodstuffs to the masses including cash.

Easter is a special season when Christians all over the world celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ who died on the cross for the salvation of mankind, and his resurrection reminds us of the hope, victory of love over the forces of evil. I thank God for keeping us alive to witness this year's celebration of his victory over death. --- Jesus Christ is risen.

Regardless of the travails of Jesus Christ, he nursed no grudge in his heart and forgave his persecutors. By his death and resurrection we now have eternal life. His victory over death means we share in his riches and glory and the assurance gives courage and strength to the entire Christendom to never give up in life, in spite of the plethora of challenges.

While it is significant to celebrate with family, friends and associates, let me remind you that this season calls for a sober reflection, we should reflect and imbibe the virtues of Jesus Christ which exemplifies love, peace, perseverance, tolerance, forgiveness, sacrifice, generosity, kindness and moral excellence. It's a time for a new beginning, time to renew our faith and enthusiasm to the service of God and mankind. It's time for love and peace to prevail.

As we celebrate this Easter, let us all remember the less privileged, aged and widows in our communities by ameliorating their sufferings. As Christians we are to carry each other's burdens, and in this way fulfill the law of Christ.

I wish to acknowledge the continuous support and encouragement of leaders, particularly my President Dr. Gen. Salva Kiir Mayardit, the good people of South Sudan. I reassure you of my commitment to attract full securities across South Sudan and more programmes that will impact positively on the lives of the people.
