It is something good that we are going to have our own state which make of us complete citizens, who have the full equal rights like all human being in the world, this was the main issue which lead most of the southerns to vote for separation(more than 98%) as the only way of getting rid of northern colonization that they were practicing against us at all levels of live during the united Sudan.
But we need to be aware not to draw our new nation in to the same mode that guided us to fight with the north for a period not less then five decades ,because of miss use of the power by some elites who do not care for the welfares of our people in south Sudan will lead to unpredicted situations in the future if things continue like the present situations with out any change after the 9th of July.
In the coming period things will not be the same as it was in the old Sudan, we need to address this point ,and rethink about how could we build this new born state, with out excluding any one of us outside the game, because we need each efforts of any southerner , so as to cross the river without going back to war , whether with ourselves as southerns or with the north as our new neighbour state, because the new born state is in need of stability more than any state else, as the time is not helping, we need to reset again and bring together all the different parties in south, and those who rebeled against the government to discuss the issue of the new state which is belong to all of us. We need to built it not to be a part of destructing it.
As we know that the natural resources that we have in south is too big, and therefore it is enough for all of us and more ,if we set to gather and think about how to manage those wealth in state of fighting each other for the sake of the power, we need to form a government who represent all southerns from their different parties to be a technocrat government who will work to settle all the hot issues in the new born state , and think about the means of making stability, and development, we are not in a position to fight ourselves because the war is not the solution for the problems , as we know we have experienced the war with the north at the end we come to set and make the dialogue as the only means of setting the problems between us and the north then we reach the CPA, in the same way we can reach the peace with ourselves if we set in a round table to solve our differences by dialogue .
I think this should be the only way that we most and have to take for solving all south- south conflicts ,we need to have a council that consist of the wise elders in south, their roll is to give advice to our politicians in the different level of state ruling ,and this council should be consider as congress council their members are from old politicians who have experiences in political aspects, or we can making it as the had of state which represents the leaders of parties in the interim period and will be dissolve as the soon as the interim ended. So this council will help as setting the basis of our new born state in Africa as the new democratic state , and by making so we can prove to our enemies who are saying that we are unable to roll our selves.
Beside this the new form governments is aiming to work for the benefit of all southern regardless of their parties religions, and tribes, but their main goals is to prepare south Sudan for the new period in its history. Please you leaders of south I just want to urge all of you that do not disappoint the southerns citizens who vote for separation to fell sorry for what they did because they vote for a faller state which have leaders who are unable to solve their problems in a peaceful manner, but always to go fight as their means of taking their rights which is a destructive mean to all, and the victim is always the poor citizens.
Let us give the welfare of our southern citizens the top priority and give them the chance to enjoy peace in ever where in south Sudan and let them celebrate their new state with out running out seeking for refuge because of insecurity in there new state as many of southern are resettling their children in the neighbouring countries instate of leaving them in south Sudan because of the lack of the basics services and security .
