WAU, South Sudan, March 18 -- The engineering and medical contingents assigned to the 16th Chinese Peacekeeping Force to the United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) conducted cultural exchange activities at the University of Bahr El-Ghazal.
The university's administration expressed gratitude to the Chinese peacekeepers for their longstanding contributions to the local peace and stability, improvements in people's livelihood, and the advancement of education.
It is learned that since their deployment to the mission area, the Chinese peacekeepers have actively engaged in cultural exchanges, medical assistance, and other activities, taking concrete actions to fulfill the solemn commitment to building a community with a shared future for mankind.
