KAMPALA, Uganda (Dow Jones)--Sudan and South Sudan will resume talks May 29 as they seek to end a bitter spat over the position of their poorly marked, oil-rich border that has been the scene of deadly clashes in recent weeks, officials said Thursday.

African Union-mediated talks will resume in Ethiopia's capital Addis Ababa and will be attended by the defense and interior ministers from the two formerly united countries, a military spokesman said.
