(MENAFN[1]) Iran shipped 2.209 million tons of non-oil outputs with a worth of USD1,093,875,996 to the African nations throughout the time span from the start of the ongoing Iranian calendar year (March 21, 2022) up to the 31st of December, the vice leader of Iran and Africa Merchants Club Ruhollah Latifi asserted.
In line with Latifi, Iran and Africa exchanged 2.29 million tons of goods valued at USD1.169 million in the stated period, as reported by IRIB.
The official noted that 96.5 percent of the overall weight of the exchanged commodities was associated to the Iranian shipments to Africa, whereas 93.5 percent of the overall worth was also earned by Iranian exporters.
He stated that the following nations South Africa, Mozambique, Ghana, Sudan, and Nigeria as the main export destinations for Iranian products while Tanzania, Kenya, South Africa, Ghana, as well as Seychelles were the main sources of imports between the African nation in the time span under review.
