Qatar and South Sudan on Sunday signed an air services agreement, which opens up airspaces for the national carrier to fly to more destinations around the world. The agreement was signed by Mohamed Faleh al-Hajri, who is in charge of managing the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority (QCAA) and Subek David Dada, chief executive of the South Sudan Civil Aviation Authority. The event was also attended by Minister of Transport HE Jassim Seif Ahmed al-Sulaiti and South Sudan’s Minister of Roads and Bridges and acting Minister of Transport and Roads Simon Mijok Mijak. Following the signing ceremony, the ministers discussed ways to enhance Qatari-South Sudanese ties in the fields of civil aviation, transportation and transportation services.
