CAIRO – 22 April 2022: Egypt’s ambassador to Juba Moataz Mustafa Abdel Qader, met Friday with South Sudan Minister of Defence and Veterans Affairs Angelina Teny as they discussed ways to enhance bilateral relations between Egypt and South Sudan.
The Egyptian ambassador praised the depth of the historical relations and ties between the two countries, stressing the keenness of the Egyptian political leadership to provide all forms of support to the state and people of South Sudan.
For her part, the South Sudanese minister expressed her thanks and appreciation for the great support and assistance provided by Egypt to the state of South Sudan.
She also appreciated the continuity of the Egyptian medical and food aid to help those affected by the floods in southern Sudan.
