(MENAFN) South Sudan's minister of petroleum and mining, Stephen Dhieu Dau, said that since Khartoum was blocking oil exports, the landlocked country might close a pipeline to north Sudan that carries its oil shipments, reported Gulf News.
Dau added that the firms were warning all the partners, including the government of Sudan and the government of South Sudan, in addition to all stakeholders, that within two days, there wouldn't be room for storage.
On the other hand, Sudan said that the South was to be blamed for exports delays, since it had failed to pay duties for 2 ships held at the Red Sea port of Port Sudan.
It is worth noting since South Sudan separated from Sudan; the two sides have failed to reach an agreement on how much Juba should pay Khartoum in fees to transfer its output of 350,000 barrels per day (bpd) to port.
