CAIRO - 3 October 2020: Juba Peace Agreement signed Saturday between the Sudanese transitional government and armed groups represents a new era of stability and prosperity for the country, Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli said on behalf of President Abdel Fatah al-sisi.
Egypt appreciates the serious efforts exerted by South Sudan that have culimated in the agreement, Madbouli said from Juba, adding that implemeting the agreement is even more important.
As Egypt invited the leaders of the Sudanese armed groups to a conference in Ain Sokhna of Egypt in 2019 to highlight their will to achieve peace, Egypt will continue to work with everybody in Sudan to enhance all aspects of partnerships in the framework of the eternal ties between the two peoples, the prime minsiter continued.
The agreement also means that every disagreement can be overcome and cooperative relations can be established upon common interests between all African brothers for better use of the black cotinent's resources and spread development in all its corners.
