(MENAFN) A medical team was sent from east China's Anhui Province to help the anti-epidemic fight in South Sudan and the Republic of Guinea on Wednesday, August 19.

The team contains eight specialists in the fields of contagious disease prevention and treatment, respiratory illness cure, concentrated care and nursing. They will stay in the two countries for about 20 days to aid combat coronavirus.

Tong Jiabing, a respiratory doctor of the First Allied Hospital of Anhui University of Chinese Medicine stated "We will bring China's anti-epidemic experiences to local communities, and share our prevention and treatment plans combining the use of traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine to help them combat the epidemic".
