ADDIS ABABA (29 Nov.)
Sudan and South Sudan will face off Tuesday in the Cecafa Senior Challenge Cup quarterfinals in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The rival teams drew 0-0 in the group stage last week in the first ever "Sudan Derby."
South Sudan won its group with 7 points after beating Malawi 2-0 on Friday, while Sudan reached the knockout stage as one of the top third place teams in the groups by defeating Djibouti 4-0. The win over Djibouti was Sudan's first in this year's tournament.
Rwanda and Kenya will also face each other Tuesday. On Monday, Malawi goes against Uganda while Ethiopia plays Tanzania.
