crossWith this, we the family of Agokwech Nyibil of Chollo Adidhiang village, announce with great sorrow the sudden untimely death of our beloved cousin Mary Tekajwok Aba Agokwech, who passed away in Malakal South Sudan today Friday 22nd of June 2012.

Mary has been sick for quite a long time and although her death is quite a great relief from her bodily pain, her departure is a great loss to both the family, the Presbyterian Church and the South Sudan. She will be remembered as the first Chollo or perhaps the first Upper Nile female primary school teacher. She was 77. May the Almighty God rest her soul in Eternal Peace.

Condolence to the entire family of Agokewec Nyibil for the death of Deaconess Mary Tekajwok Abanyilek Agokwech.

We Chollo Christian’s community in Australia regret the death of Deaconess Mary Tekajwok. As a result we hereby with deep sorrow write to pay our condolences to Ustaz Paul Abanyilek, Kt Aban Ayong, James Ogilo Agor, Rev’d Ezekiel Kudjok and other relatives.
There is much to remember Mary and similarly much to be thankful for her. Mary had been a faithful, Christian School teacher and Deaconess in the Presbyterian Church in the Sudan.
The experiences of death Mary had under gone are not the final end but the beginning of life. It is crossing the world as swimmers do cross the rivers. Jesus said he who hears my word and believes in him who sent me has eternal life does not come under judgement but has passed from death to life John 5: 24.
We trust that beyond absence of Mary bodily, she is presence in the spirit with the Lord Jesus Christ. The Lord will restore her soul to wholeness. So let not your hearts trouble. Life is not over but begins a new, believe in God and believe in Jesus Christ John 14: 1
“Blessed are those who wash their robes that they may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city” Rev 22: 14. We will see Mary and all our dead who have washed their robes in eternity.
Strictly speaking Mary will be missed by the family but this is how it should be. May God rest her soul in eternal peace? “The Lord blesses and keeps you. The Lord makes his face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you. The Lord lifts up his countenance upon you and gives you peace”.

Condolence for the death of Mary Tekajwok Abanyilek Agokwech.

    Dear’s brothers and sisters
To me death comes to every one for the wages of sin. But the most important are the fruits of our work. Mary has served people in the field of education and in the Church. She has left good remarks and this will be remembered through out history.
As a first lady a appointed as teacher late Mary Aba did a tremendous work of teaching to our children and will be remembered because of her good deeds in the Chollo community. Mary will still be remembered even today, because of her good deeds. As teacher I think she has left a good remembrance.
Also as a member of the Presbyterian Church of Sudan I know that Mary had lived for the Lord and eventually the Lord will receive her to himself. She has died to the Lord Jesus Christ, Romans 14:8. We have confident that Mary will rest with Almighty God where she would be freed from pain suffer (2 Corinthians 5:6-8,
My condolence to all family of Aba Agokwech, Adidhyang, Pinyidwayi and all entire Collo communities. We lost a great elder in our community. May Almighty God rest her soul in peace?
