Procurement notice: ICT equipment, solar backup in South Sudan

The Ministry of Finance and Planning in South Sudan invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the supply and delivery of ICT equipment, furniture, generators and related accessories.

DEADLINE: 25 July 2024

These services will contribute to the overall procurement of internet infrastructures and bandwidth, and solar backup systems for ten locations and field offices for the South Sudan National Revenue Authority.

The tendered items are categorised in three lots as follows:

• LOT 1: Generator and Accessories
• LOT 2: Computer and ICT Equipment; and
• LOT 3: Assorted Furniture

Bidding details

A complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of SSP100,000 (one hundred thousand South Sudanese Pounds) or its equivalent in any freely convertible currency.

Bidding will be conducted through the Open Competitive Bidding (National) (OCBN) method as specified in the African Development Bank’s Procurement Framework, Procurement of Goods (August 2021 Edition) and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Framework.

Bids must be delivered to the above office on or before 2pm (CAT) on 25 July 2024 and must be accompanied by a security in the form of a Bank Guarantee of $2,000 for Lots one and three; and $6,000 for Lot two.

Late bids will not be accepted.

Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at 3pm (CAST) on 25 July 2024 in the Project Coordination Unit located within the Government Accountancy Training Centre (GATC), Juba, South Sudan.

Any form of canvassing in the bidding process shall lead to automatic disqualification.
