New reading book in Cøllø

Gyeni Anda, the Shilluk translation of Handa's Hen, is now available for sale online. This book by Eileen Browne has recently been tranlated into Shilluk by Otto Gwado Ayoker.

To order a copy, go to www.mantralingua.com. You will find Shilluk listed there, in the alphabetic list of languages for which resources are available at this company. Click 'Shilluk' and you will find the book - the picture displays the French version, but don't worry, they have the Shilluk one.

Mantra Lingua is a publisher specialised in minority languages. The Shilluk book has actually been published by Walker Books Ltd. - here Mantra Lingua acts as the distributor only. They have 400 copies of the book in stock - the remaining 5000 are in Khartoum, and will be distributed by the Shilluk Language Council in the context of their literacy strategy.
