The United Nations mission in Sudan, in collaboration with the government of Central Equatoria State, has conducted a one day visit to Wawa Lang agricultural farm near Juba to evaluate activities and facilitate agricultural production.
Acting UNMIS regional representative Mr. Steven Guwa said that UN mission is determined to continue assisting agricultural production and improving living conditions for citizens in Southern Sudan.
He appreciated efforts being done by Bangladeshi non-governmental organization BRAC in providing seeds and cultivation equipments and tools needed in Wawa Lang area.
Mr. Guwa urged local authorities to provide more facilities to people at the Crop demonstration plot in Wawa Lang.Newer articles:
